Jennifer Johnson, NP

Jennifer Johnson is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with eight years of nursing experience. She currently specializes in inpatient and outpatient management of acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic wounds, venous leg ulcers, and surgical wounds. Grounded in evidence-based practices, Jennifer collaborates closely with her surgical team at Central Surgical Associates to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belhaven University, and she earned her Master
of Science in Nursing from Delta State University. She is certified through the American Academy of
Nurse Practitioners. She has since dedicated her career to advancing wound care management. She is a
current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is committed to
continuous learning and professional development.


Jennifer aims to empower her patients through education, equipping them with the knowledge and
tools to prevent future wounds and improve their quality of life. Her approach combines comprehensive
wound care with a focus on prevention, ensuring her patients receive personalized, holistic care.
Jennifer is a Mississippi Delta native originally from Rolling Fork, Mississippi. She currently resides with
her husband and children in Louise, Mississippi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her
family, traveling to rodeos and sporting events for her children, reading, and relaxing on her husband’s
farm. Jennifer is also an active member of the PTO board at her children’s school, further demonstrating
her commitment to her community.
